Because we haven't got to the point yet where we can expel them without really convincing evidence which would be enough to justify criminal proceedings leading to a conviction. It is -- like so many other sensible courses of action -- against their human rights without going through due process of law. I think that the time is fast approaching for the government to take a robust stand and introduce emergency legislation whereby this problem could be tackled. But have they the guts to do so?
god only knews but if you knew how many Chechen terrorist suspects had fled here from Russia and are now living in this country with benefits and houses from the government youd be even sicker. Its because the UK has a very lax immigration policy. Now they are regretting it.
Cos were a soft touch. What we fail to see is that not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims.

Because they're British. If you 'send them back' then they can just carry on doing what they're doing and we can't keep an eye on them. Besides, there's no garuntee there's somewhere to 'send them back' to. What if they're a 3rd or 4th generation immigrant - or not even an immigrant at all?
Because the criteria for being a terrorist suspect are amazingly loose. If someone was genuinely caught conspiring to commit a terrorist act, than this in itself would be an arrestable offense and the offenders would be taken into custody.
