How do you find out if a former employer is stabbing me in the back?
On a local TV station, they reported that employers could say untrue information about you in a computer database. where is this database? How do I find out what they are saying? When I had a background check about six years ago, I was clean. Is this database seperate from the background checks?Someone suggested to me that the above might be the case. Thanks.

Have a friend call them up and ask for a job reference. If they say bad things, get a private investigator and have them check references for you. Then use their testimony against the company to sue them or at least threaten them.
