Could I get a lawyer to help me answer this?

I am an honorably discharged, disabled American veteran. My disability rating is 70% but I receive 100% benefits due to unemployability. All of this is concerning the State of Texas. Please keep in mind that this is NOT the entire story. My daughters were living next to their mother and others many of whom were drug users and alcoholics. They were contained by a dangerous and neglectectful situation and I wanted to get them out. I tried the court but I didn't hold the money to hire a lawyer as my rating was not as high as it is presently. I tried going to the city and county, but everyone assumed that I was a disgruntled ex and did nothing about the situation. The solely recourse I felt that I had was to stop paying child support. I chose to do this ONLY because the money wasn't going to cart care of them anyway. Food stamps were feeding them, the State be providing medical insurance and the only time they had better clothes was when I bought them.
You have got a mess on your hand. Having lost your only means of income, having the State of Texas after you and simply a big mess in general. I am afraid you have dug yourself a hole that a legal representative is going to retained to help get you out. Sorry bud but you made your bed, now you gotta fib down in it. The law is sucks...It only work surrounded by favor to injustice..I think the law has be implemented to satisfy those in power..
You picked her, you made the kids, you gotta pay to play. If the children be in real danger, it wouldn't own taken money or a lawyer to get them out, just a ring to social services. Child support is not for the ex (or her friends), it's for the children. If you didn't pay it and the state of Texas did in the form of food stamps, etc., you owe the money.
You sound close to a guy with a lot of excuses, and now you've departed the country to avoid responsibility and are coming on here for sympathy. Sorry, I got none for ya. Wow... Sorry man... You got screwed even worse than I did...

(a)shutuppauface: Ever wonder why people haul up you of lacking in the ability to common sense or understand?
Try to move about to a legal aid society (http://lsc.gov) and get representation through them, and initiate proceedings through child services.
"The solely recourse I felt that I had was to stop paying child support."
A poor choice. You could hold contacted child services in the area where the children lived.

" I'm sick and tired of self called a deadbeat because I was the only one that tried to sustain my daughters."
What you did was of no help to any of you.
