Creative writing bad influence on society?

It needs to be regulated. Somehow, those who participate in it should be monitored by the police and government to keep us all SAFE. Give it a rating system as well. People who do creative writing are easily influenced by it's destructive messages.
You assume immediately that creative writing is all bad. Creative writing is not bad. It is subject that is given as part of an English wiritng program to get those students with positive excellent creativity skills at work and enhance them.

Creative writing could be a child's or adult's daily entrance into a book about a specific subject or discribing some given event or object by the teacher. It is guided by the teacher.

Negative writing can be taken upon by any one in the world at any time either at home, or at an educational institute.

Writing by anyone usually expresses something- it is an outlet for people to express what they feel and what they know.
Is creative writing something other than just writing? How can writing be harmful? Wouldn't it help someone express them self and entertain them self and others?

Are you saying creativity is bad? Certainly bad things can be created, but so can good things. How are you going to ban these things anyway!?

Answer:
If you limit a creative writing then how can it be call creative writing anymore and how can you justify what is bad influence. If creative writing is bad influence then all the music, movie, magazine is bad influence and need greater attention than creative writing. Howabout internet exposure. Police and government have better and more important issue to tackle like shortage of medical care, crime rate increasing, lack of education for poor family etc. What you mention is really insignificant.
They had a system like you describe in Soviet Russia.

See the 1st Amendment to the United States Constitution
Then you should move to the Middle East or some other country that doesn't believe in free speech.

Free speech is a double edged sword, you have to take the good with the bad.

On another level, your logic wouldn't work, because unless everything written was approved by the government, who would determine what is dangerous?

I guess since I wrote a story about a snake that lived under my bed and killed people (2nd grade) I would be on that list of dangerous people?

I bet the movies you watch would fall into those catergories, so by you paying to watch those movies you would be condoning the writiers twisted ideas. You silly hypocrite.

Yes. For society's sake and welfare of people there should be a constant watch over creative writers and writing.
I'm not really sure what you are asking.

Creative writing that is published is generally called fiction.

If you mean the media takes liberties with the news and reports news with a particular slant, that's another whole subject.

I'm assuming you are in the United States and the First Amendment is alive and well which means speech (oral, written, symbolic) is protected with few very specific exceptions.

How in the world could anyone monitor this speech? And what penalties would you impose for violations? The more you think about it, the more slippery the slope.
