Of the 2 that were sent but not approved, the 1st deal with the apportionment of Representatives and the 2nd dealt with Compensation of Members of Congress. The 2nd one be actually ratified in 1992 and become the 27th amendment to our Constitution. It reads as this " No Law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall hold intervened ". Proposed Sept. 25. 1789, ratifed May 7, 1992
