AZTEC — An 18-year-old Aztec man charged with the Saturday night stomping death of a 17-month-old girl who was staying at her babysitter's County Road 3010 residence allegedly told San Juan County Sheriff's Office deputies he jumped on the small child.
Jose Garcia admitted to deputies during a Sunday interview that he 'stepped on the baby's foot and the baby made a screech(ing) noise' Saturday night while he was at his 15-year-old girlfriend's house, an arrest affidavit states. Garcia later confessed he tried to jump over Taegan McKinney, who was laying on the floor at her babysitter's home, and landed on top of the small child instead.
The Daily Times is withholding the name of the 15-year-old babysitter because she has not been criminally charged in connection with the infant's death.
Okay you haven't asked a question but that is just so wrong, and yet just another example of disgusting sick crimes that unfortunately go on every single day. I don't understand what goes on in the minds of some people, quite frankly im glad I don't.

Why are there so many evil and twisted bastards in this world? What posseses anyone to harm a child , especially a tiny defenceless baby. Just think what that poor angel went through to have a big twat jump on her belly so hard that it killed her. I hope he gets molestered and beaten to within an inch of his life.

Such a tragidy :[ Last nite I heard simialar nightmare storie about Adult babysitter who left a bottle of her Epilepsiy Meds open.The child was not being watched..She was able to eat some of these pills & is still in the hospital..I don,t take any life for granted! a child and some adults have to be watched.Even when they are with their own kids..Sad day in this world We All live.. Really?! An AzteC? Have you contacted the Guinness Book of World Records? Aztecs have been non-existent since about ten years after the Spanish conquest in 1500. So this guy must be at least 500 years old! He must be in pretty good condition to be able to murder someone!
The person you mention in the article sounds Latino to me, possibly Mexican, who are NOT Aztecs.
AZTEC?? The Aztecs have been wiped out by the Spanish conquerors in search of Eldorado around 500 years ago, then 17 months olds -and younger, if it makes it more outrageus- were killed and burned, let alone jumped on. So did their families.
All types of men from all over the world commit disgusting acts to children, women, animals and in fact anything that moves. It's not a regional or breed specific issue.
