Can i get my driver's license at a dmv in Texas with a warrent out for my arrest?
will they do a backround check?... and please don't answer by saying turn myself in, i'm not in the position to do any time...
plus my warrant isn't a felony.
if u have a warrant out for u and u go to dmv to get your liscence u will be arrested at the dmv office.
sure - once you get out - you can have your license
(yeah - they will run the name)
no they don't even check, I went about 1 month ago and they did not catch my warrant.
i really dont see why not...i have a carp load and i just re newed mine
I lived in Houston when I was married to 'Mr. Wrong' (but that's beside the point) and any way they issued me a license that said I was MALE (I am a woman and I look like one). But I think they will probably do a background check.
Well, if there is a warrant in the state where you get your license you probably will be flagged!
Many states rarely pick up those that are out of the state or region unless it is a felony or major crime!
Nope they wont give it to you but they wont arrest you either i got same problem no DL since 2001 i drive everywhere without one
They will ' take care ' of you.
Answer:
Omg are you serious im sorry but i dont think theres any chance of getting it. They will ask for id and i believe a birth certifate if its your first time getting a license. They will probably turn you in or notify the police, i wont risk it . Sorry gl to ya.
I live in TX and I am pretty sure they do. I used to work at a job where we required a valid ID(not expired) and people would complain b/c they could not renew their license's due to outstanding warrants. If you think about it, why get a license? If you get pulled over, they will arrest you for the warrant so no license will be the least of your worries... just a thought though.
More then likely they will know, and if it's seems serious enough, and the police have someone that isn't busy they will arrest you.
Do the crime,do the time.
Why bother getting a license? Is it because you want to show you have a right to drive when you're pulled over? If so, when you're pulled over, the cop will do an outstanding-warrants check and you're caught.
A little bribe never hurt, heh.
The DMV will know if there's a warrant.
