Just admit to the peacemaker you screwed up. Don't get into the " but I was only speeding for a short distance...""" That will doom you for sure. Tell the judghe you be speeding, but realized it and slowed down. and will try not to speed in the future. He might, repeat MIGHT cut you some slack. Let me explain something. Gas sale are down, so is state gas tax revenue, which is used for road and bridge repairs. The states NEED this revenue to maintain roads and bridges. They won't be able to receive the difference from Washington, so how do you think they're going to make up the revenue??? We crack down and write tickets! So, please drive carefully and submit the laws. Good luck at your hearing.

well if it's your first ticket purely plead nolo contendre you'll still get the ticket or they might throw it away, but your insurance won't go up. My first ticket was a few months ago and I arise to get in the crossfire of an extremely angry cop. I didn't stop completely at yield sign when the hurricane lantern was on red and he was yelling at me the unharmed time. He ended up giving me two tickets one for not yielding and one for not stopping. I pleaded nolo contendre in court and they get rid of one. The only thing I was upset in the region of was the fact that they thought I had fought beside the officer. I was acctually the opposite I was startled I didn't say a word just nodded yes and no. The alarming thing was I didn't know I did anything wrong. You begin to pick up road rules from watching other drivers. I didn't know you have to stop at a red light I was always told right on red as long as it's clear. And it be, but this speeding cop came out of nowhere. I've seen so many drivers never stop at red lights when going right I figure it was right.
Ticket Dismissal and Point Reduction Unlike many states, Pennsylvania does not allow you to elect to take a undamaging driving class and have points taken off your license, or have your ticket dismissed. In some circumstances, a court may instruct you to attend such a class, and depending on the court ruling, your ticket may be waived or your fine may be reduced. (you can ask the judge to do this before you plead) exceedingspeed parameter 6-10mph 2 points 11-15mph 3points 16-25mph 4 points 26-30mph 5 points 31 & over 5 & departmental hearing
