What is a good punishment for rapists?

i say let the victim rape them with a blunt object
put them in jail for the rest of their lives.
I'd say castration but rape is often about violence and not sex. Although castration would seriously cut down testosterone output and help reduce violent behaviour. I'm not into punishment though so I'd also go for execution. We do it with vermin, after all.
I say 'cut that thing off'
I say announce theri crime over the prison loud speaker as you are bringing them into general population. Let the monsters punish each other. There is no reason to let/make victims sink to the level of these scumbags.


Answers:
Castration. It would be a terrific deterent for others and that particular person would never do it again.
Chain them to a fence outside a convention of mothers who have lost their daughters to rape and murder.
Then watch it on the 6:00 news.
An eye for an eye sounds fair, plus jail time.
