Sell a senior day....?
in our school we have sell a senior when the highest bidder gets to have the senior for the day...the authorities are thinking that we shouldnt because it is a form of slavery...what do you think?
we had this as freshman. the senoirs would buy freshman. our school would freak out and say it was slavery too..but none of the freshman cared, so honestly i really think schools are freaking out about things that dont matter, and taking away important and fun traditions at schools.
What do you get to do with your newly purchased Senior?

Thats ridiculous. This type of 'auction' has been used for good causes, it shoudl be fun and light hearted.
The'authorities' aren't too bright. Although you say you 'bought' a senior...you actually 'hired' the senior and he/she is not likely to be whipped or have his or her children sold off if he/she refuses your command.
