Did i need his permission to leave the state?
there was only a child support lay down no visitation order no custody order i informed the department of revenue of us leaving he be told 2 months in advance and said nothing he lived beside us for 5 months because he lost another job and no place to live he did not help with taking meticulousness of our son and smoked pot in my house refused to leave or carry it out of my house it was a nightmare now he has file for custody of our son in flrida we live in tennessee so any advice would be jelpful
Find a legal representative to help you first thing. If you were married and you hold full custudy due to divorce then as long as you notified the court before foot it should be ok. If you were not married then you should atomatically have full custudy and be capable of live where you want. If he has never filed for visitation and is going for full custudy he would own to prove that you are unfit to care for the child. make sure you file within Tennessee for full custody.
If you are already living in a different state I would not worry about it too much. Truthfully since he have only filed and there have been no hearing then he have no say.
If you were living in equal state and had a visitation agreement with joint custody consequently he could make an issue of you skipping state.
