How many acres are in texas?

I need to know because my mom says that everyone in the world could move about in texas and each own an acre.

Here are the numbers I came up beside:

Acres in Texas: 171,904,640
Human Population: 6,602,224,175

Im pretty sure that means my mom is wrong. But shes said im an idiot and my information is false.

I think it might be because she doesnt want to believe in attendance is human overpopulation and humans are ruining the earth.

Anyway, I could go on forever about my mom, but I entail to know if my information is true or not.
kilometres squared in texas = 696241
1 kilometre squared = 247.105381
696241 x 247.105381 = 1720448976
1720448976 acres in texas

population of the world = 6,602,224,175 (July 2007)
so unless the world's population has gone down by 4881775199 since July 2007, afterwards your mum is wrong. by quite alot.
This is very interesting, because if you took the entire population of the world (roughly seven billion people), and stood them side by side in the state of Texas, respectively person would have 1000 square feet! There are 261,914 square acres within Texas (that figures to seven trillion square feet). So there is enough room purely in Texas for every person in this world to gain a piece of land 32 ft. X 32 feet! And that's just Texas! There is no overpopulation problem! This planets simply not big enough for the rich and the poor to live together, that's the real problem! Well, I get 167,550,080 base on 261,707 square miles so you're pretty close (assuming I'm right :-).

You're mom reminds me of my mom. When she didn't know something she'd get all defensive and brand name it sound like I was the one that didn't know anything. As it turned out, I usually did and she usually didn't. Just the agency it went.

As for humans ruining the Earth: they've been doing it since the Dawn of Time and they're doing it less-and-less as time goes on. You should've see the air over Los Angeles and Denver back in the '60s - if you saw it within person today it would make your hair stand on terminate!
