What would you have done?

I like to think that i am a law abiding UK citizen,however the other morning as i was driving away from my home when one of my neighbours along with two of his sons stopped my car, spat on my fanlight then yanked the door open and threatened me. They be shouting for me to get out of my car.....they had raise fists. Being more suprised than scared i stayed in my car and they eventually go indoors. We used to get on amicably untill one of his sons threatened one of my kids one day. They have since threatened to vandalise my property and sports car and the police can do nothing. I very nearly got out of my sports car to face them but then i knew this may product matters worse.
next time it happens first hang on to your doors locked and call the police, you can then explain everything that has happen, file an order of protection and make a report of adjectives of it that way if they come near you again or on or near your property you can enjoy them arrested i would let them wallop me in view of everyone else later get out of there and call the police..
I know nothing about the laws surrounded by the UK, but here in North Florida, 70-80% of the folks around here are hunters, and at any given time they have a shotgun rack full of response to something like that. You guys should really try the 2nd amendment across the pond. It would come contained by handy in situations like this.

As a serious legal thing, I suspect that what you need to do is to file a restraining order (not sure what you guys telephone them) with the local court system, requiring their entire family to stay at least 100 foot from any member of your family or your personal property, and then own the police put them under surveillance to make sure they follow the order. If they decline to enforce it, and you have tried through the courts, then I guess you'll have to knob it yourself, then won't you?
get some decent legitimate advice and see about getting a court order of some sort. you should not own to put up with this. have you thought about cctv? that track if anything does happen you will have it on film. try to resist invitation to give them a good beating, enticing i know but you will cop it not them. best of luck love
