when starting a new job is it still legal to give 3mth probation?
im starting anew job they are giving me a 3month probation can they still do this
Yes, it is, that even goes as far as providing you with Insurance after the 3month period.
Good Luck and Prosper...;*!*;...
Of course they can
Yes, an employer can still give you a 3 month probation. That way they can avoid giving you benefits and keep replacing the position every 3 months. It's been my personal experience that one company had a 90 day probation. They replaced me after 89 days and no benefits had to be given.
I really doubt if there is any other reason for this situation except that the employer is cheap.....)(
yes as long as they state it. if you were accepted to work but you weren't told of a probation period or it wasn't in your contract then they can't.

As long as they told you before hiring you yes its legal. However if they didnt inform you before hand you could have some leverage. Depending on your work history employeers can do things of this nature but 3 months sounds insane to me, if I were you I would keep this while still pursuing other options. If they raze you this bad at hire the long term pic is grim. Good luck!!
Yes, they can pretty much give any amount of probabtion they want and if you don't agree to it, then they will not hire you.
they can do whatever they want... and also, despite popular belief, they don't NEED a reason to fire you.
