Can I become a veterinary assistant with a felony drug background??

I have two prior possesion charges- at least 5 years old- and am looking to take a community college class to in actual fact get a real job. I'm interested within vet assistant. Also, what other fields could I work in with a felony environment??
you can try, just don't sprawl on apps., who knows, it may work out for you, best of luck
The best thing is to ask the licensing board for the state as for requirements. Felony drug may be a problem because you will enjoy access to pharmaceuticals, but maybe not. You can probably go online and find info for the licensing board. If not, a hail as to the division's office will tell you and potentially save you lots of time if it can't work for you. It would depend on the company who is doing the hiring. Don't lounge on your applications. Where I work, they put your name up on a public wall, say that you were fired, and the majority of reason are because they person did not disclose any pasts arrests. Be honest, and let them know how you are doing so well. Good for you for going subsidise to school, and I wish you the best.
Yes, you can be a vet Assistant. You can work with computers, you can be an buisness adminstrator. there are many job out there. medcial coder or medical transcriptionist.. You could be a poltician...Best best is to talk to the counsulor at the community college. tell them that you hold been convicted of possession, and they can help. Be honest, and open almost your past. people will see that you changed. Alot of people hold done things they arent' proud of but hiding them doesn't help.
