is there anyway i can stir about this with out going to the labor deparment. ???
this is i reallly am depending on my paycheck and 3 weeks with no recompense i cant go liek that
If you have wages coming to you and you weren't paid on payday then you should be in motion to the labor board and file a complaint. This guy is absolutely taking advantage of you. I know job are hard to get but working for nothing is not a brief...i think that is called slavery.
Tell him the subsequent time you go to work that you want your pay that was due as of the ultimate payday right then and there or you will walk out and budge directly to the labor board. You are just starting out in your working life and have need of to assert yourself when you are being abused like this.
If he doesn't pay you next be sure to go and complain to the labor board as you told him you would do. Say what you mean and mean what you speak.
Good luck to you.
You are man taken advantage of. If you haven't filled out your W2 forms yet, you are one worked illegally.
Get those forms signed, otherwise tell your boss that you will be looking for another job, and suing him for the hours you enjoy worked.
Tell him that he is falsely with holding your money check. Things should get situated immediately or you can sue. For the money owed. Tell them you understand he is busy and see if a administrator can get you into the system. See if you can get paid brass for the previous weeks pay. If not tell him you want a check issued by the end of the week.
When someone files a lawsuit they have a responsibility to 'Mitigate their damages' this means they have done everything they could in the law to be compensated before they decided to sue the soul. It is your responsibility to talk to him about your id#, and to ask him for a specific day contained by which you will be paid. Usually people get paychecks every 2 weeks and if you start contained by the middle of a pay period you may end up going longer than 2 weeks , so I deliberate that 3 weeks is jumping the gun a little. Calling the labor department is totally unnecessary. You have to remember that although companies must foot you in a timely manner, going 3 weeks without individual payed is totally acceptable. Most professionals only get payed once a month (every 4 weeks). If you took him to court they would most probable tell you that you didn't give him enough time to pay cheque you and send you home, then you'll get payed for your 3 weeks, but I outstandingly doubt you'd still have a job. If he does not give you a full paycheck by the subsequent date he tells you, then you should refuse to verbs working untill you are payed and have a #. If he doesn't then you can quit, give him a month or so to compensate you, and then you can sue him.
